PathFinder (Fight Coach) is flight logger for model aircraft. It records the position and
orientation of an RC model during flight. The flight path and attitude are logged using an array
of sensors including 3-axis gyros, accelerometers, barometer, magnetometer (compass) and
GPS. The data log rate is approximately 15-25 points per second. The system also includes
“Mission Planner”, which provides a detailed, 3D graphic plot of the data. The result is a tool
which aids the user to improve precision flying.
