Hi AAM junior members and parents,

My name is Everett. I’m 11 years old and I have been flying for two months now. I like seeing other kids and young adults at the field, but do not see many out there so I thought we should start a juniors club to meet each other and fly together. It should be a lot of fun.

Over time, we will try different events including fun flies, field trips to see unique full scale aircraft, trainings, juniors competitions, model building events, and more…I’d like to hear your ideas.

To kick things off, our first event will be a Fun Fly on Saturday, December 7 from 10 am -12 pm.

• We will reserve the West runway at the Arvada Modelers Airfield for just juniors
• We will fly together, and have some fun flying activities and challenges put together by the AAM leadership team
• If you don’t have a plane, the AAM may have an extra one you can borrow
• We will bring snacks and hot chocolate
• We will plan to meet and fly as long as it is dry. If it is snowing, we will postpone to a future date
